High Plains

High Plains is a located just south of Riding Mill in the picturesque Tyne Valley, very easily accessible from the A68 and A69. 

The excellent facilities include Superb 60 x 40m sand, fibre and rubber arena and a UK Chasers Course through woodland and grass tracks, with optional cross country jumps up to 3ft 3. There is ample parking, mostly on hard-standing.  CDRC regularly hold training events and competitions here.

 

Directions to High Plains

From the A69 East or West
From A69 at Styford Roundabout (just before Corbridge) take the A68 exit signposted the South and Darlington.  At the next roundabout (Broomhaugh roundabout) take the A68 south signposted Darlington.  Go up hill and take 1st turning on right (at end of the crawler lane) signposted “Healey 2 miles”.  Continue along road passing house on right with stables on the left.  High Plains is the 2nd driveway on the right.  Signs will direct you to parking areas.

From A68 travelling North
Pass Kiln Pit Hill and Minsteracres. On left you will see a sign for Healey – do not take this one!   A few hundred metres further you will see a B & B on the right and a layby on the left, with immediately after it a left turn signposted “Healey 2 miles”. Turn left here. Continue along road passing house on right with stables on the left.  High Plains is the 2nd driveway on the right.  Signs will direct you to parking areas.
